The train is a great way to get around Italy. It really beats the confusion and frustrations that come along with driving! You can book your tickets online or just buy them at the station. So far we have just bought at the station.

I bought Rick Steve's Italy 2012 book and downloaded it onto my iphone. This guy is great. It really helped us on our Florence trip! You can check the book out from the base library but I really liked having it on my phone so it was easier to carry and have on me all the time.For iphone or ipads you can download his app Rick Steve's Audio Europe. It's like having your own personal tour guide.
