Shipping Pets

Your pet needs to be seen by a U.S. Department of Agriculture certified vet. Base vets are USDA certified. If there is no base near where your pet is coming from you need to google and call around to find a vet that is USDA cert. Your pet must be microchipped with an internatianl chip BEFORE it gets it's rabies shot. The 2nd link tells what to do if your pet already had shots before the microchip.

Here are the links I have gathered.

Childcare

If you need full time childcare (such as the CDC), try utilizing the Parent Co-Op. Spouses volunteer (training is provided) to provide childcare for others in a secure environment and in turn, earn free childcare for themselves. The Co-Op meets all the Air Force childcare standards with donated resources and volunteer time. For more information visit Parent Co-Op Gives Parents a Break

Riposo...

While it varies from store to store, gas stations and businesses usually close for a few hours during the day. Typically around 12-3 pm. This is called riposo, meaning rest. Some stores and MOST gas stations are closed on Sunday. So, pay attention to your tank on Saturday!
